General Election (for CA)
I've done a lot of reading for this year's Mid-term Election. Read and followed each candidate to make the wisest decisions, and supporting specific Props. However, I said "No" to a lot (like Prop 21, give me a break!) I've always been told that if you don't vote, don't complain, though I have this voice in the back of my head reminding me how rigged everything is.

I'm all for voting, and I hope you do, but one of the nice things about our country is that you can still complain even if you don't vote, and I get really annoyed by people who make a passionate stand on that little phrase. And I've heard it many times.
ReplyDeleteI rarely vote over here, despite hearing phrases like that. I can (and sometimes do) place an ‘anti-vote.’ But, really, what’s the point of voting for someone you can’t believe in?

C.N. - It is very annoying, and you're right - it hasn't stopped anyone from giving their opinion.
ReplyDeleteMask - That's how I feel too, however with this election Prop 19 was introduced and I have to vote towards that, which led me to vote for others. Otherwise, I'd be ignoring the whole shebang.
I voted in our national elections, but I have't voted for the student council in three years.
