I normally don't do this

Considering I am still unemployed and DESPERATELY seeking for employment. Considering I spend most of my time going to school, studying my butt off and then going to my internship where I sit on my butt longer, staring at a computer... that I DON'T get paid for. The little time that I do have, I spend it enjoying the rest of my boyfriend's company before he moves away, and writing! I have been working on a short story for some time now (ask Mask!) and I am finally getting close to the end. Just in time to enter a short story competition for the chance to win some money (which would go towards school if I won, trust me). Any of you are welcome to participate.

But you have to join their site first. It's FREE and you get to take part in awesome competitions. It's all about writing! So I urge you all to join... but there's always a catch, isn't there? For this particular competition (and not always) it costs 15 dollars to enter. Maybe some of you find that being a small amount of money that can easily be blown towards this contest. But, it is not for me. In fact, I don't have a penny to my name. And as embarrassing as this will sound I am asking for any donations, even if it's 50 cents, to help me obtain 15 dollars so I can send my short story. This doesn't mean I'll win, but at least I'm trying to. I do believe in myself but I know it's tough in the writing world. So I can not promise your 50 cents will be worth it. However, if you do donate I will definitely, without a doubt, email you my story and you can laugh, cry, smile, or waste time reading it ;-)
